Hmmm, just wondering

According to the theory of evolution, we should be getting better. You know, getting smarter and healthier and better able to survive. But best I can tell our society in general just keeps getting stupid-er. We keep killing each other off. Hate keeps escalating. We kill people over bad calls in sporting contests. We steal each other's stuff. We lie. We cheat. The list goes on. Maybe it is not a good idea to tell people they are animals; just wondering...
